Tim is the Deputy Director, Head of Participation and Engagement at the GBIF Secretariat, the world's foremost biodiversity data infrastructure, with an unconventional career path leading from 20 years in journalism through science communication consultancy to leadership and global advocacy in the sharing of biodiversity information.
Tim is the most interested in such aspects of biodiversity: Access and benefit sharing, Agriculture, Biodiversity targets, Biotechnology, CBD negotiations, Communicating biodiversity, Climate change, Ecosystem services, Endangered species, Forests, Protected areas, Taxonomy
